Why we are watching
A vector index that runs entirely on a personal device, and an efficiency result that changes what is possible there: cutting index storage by ~97% is what moves private RAG over a real document corpus from "needs a server" to "fits on a laptop". Both halves of the theme in one project — the data being indexed never leaves, and the compute to search it is yours.
