The Foundry — weeks 1-3
Intensive on the agentic stack: agent orchestration, RAG, evaluation frameworks, MCP servers and skills, and the discipline of pushing work down from agents into deterministic code.
Modeling — weeks 4-8
You join a live enterprise account, shadow discovery sessions and design reviews, and ship real work behind the principal's review gate.
Scaffolding — weeks 9-18
You own a workstream and its evaluation suite, run your first discovery session and your first stakeholder demo, with the principal on the call.
Fading — weeks 19-26
You lead delivery. The principal steps back to phase gates and the account is increasingly yours to run.
Position Overview
This is not a bootcamp. There is no tuition, no placement fee, and no classroom purgatory: you are a salaried engineer on a real account from week one, and the training program is the engagement itself. You work next to a principal who has built and run systems at Fortune 500 scale, and you certify against a bar set with the client rather than a certificate we print for ourselves.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a discovery session solo: Take the session yourself, listen past the stated problem, and come back with the one worth solving.
Own an evaluation suite: Build it, keep it green for a month, and know why it fails when it does.
Run a stakeholder demo: Show the work to the people paying for it and handle what comes back.
Ship under the safety protocol: Take a production change through our sign-off gate, including the guardrails and misuse modes.
Defend a scope trade-off: Explain to the client why you are building less than they asked for, and be right.
Qualifications
Strong CS fundamentals: 0-3 years of professional software development, with real code to show: a repo, a shipped product, or a serious contribution.
Professional-grade English: You will present to enterprise executives. This is non-negotiable and we test it.
Agency: Show us something you built that nobody asked you to build.
Comfort with ambiguity: This work starts before the spec exists. If you need a ticket to start moving, the role will make you miserable.
AI-native instincts: You already treat AI tooling as leverage rather than a threat, and you can tell when its output is wrong.
